Since 1994, Rebuilding Together of Queen Anne’s County, Inc., initially operating as Christmas in April, brings together churches, civic organizations, businesses and individuals to provide no-cost home repairs to low-income homeowners in Queen Anne’s County.  Rebuilding Together has purchased over $400,000 in building supplies and materials from local area merchants and utilized 1,000 volunteers to repair 253 homes around the county.

Recent Projects


Repaired roof that was damaged when tree fell through it. Replaced 146′ of shingles and removed mold and damaged ceiling from bedroom. Repaired and repainted bedroom ceiling. Replaced damaged subfloor in kitchen and bathroom after fixing the leaks and installed new vinyl flooring.


Installed handicap ramp, as well as making the deck usable and helping with yard work.


Repaired a 400 Square foot roof on a mobile home by coating the roof with Metal X Sealant to stop interior leaks.

Church Hill:

Repaired floor damage throughout the home including replacing joist under the kitchen, repairing water damaged floor under the washer and water heater, and upgraded water pipes in the kitchen and bathroom. Replaced water heater and kitchen sink cabinets. Replaced carpet in 3 rooms with laminate flooring.


Replaced roof on the home. provided minor upgrades in home including new dryer, kitchen faucet, and stove hood. Replaced water lines under the house that were leaking, causing water accumulation under the house.
